Bad Thought Eraser

Recently I received an email from someone who had started on the path of personal development and transformation… He was experiencing shifts, strange and unpleasant thoughts coming to mind while meditating.

GoodBadThoughtsHe wanted to know if it was normal… if he should stop meditating, using hypnosis and wondered if ‘something’ had been put into motion…

I thought you might be interested to read my reply.

If you’ve ever had any issues meditating, using hypnosis or similar…

Or if you’re interested in understanding more about perceptions and the Reality Tunnels we experience the world through… and more importantly, how you can change and influence your thoughts to have more of what you want.

Great question…

Studying the science of personal growth and transformation is like studying any science. You get a deeper understanding and opportunities to experience…

Basically You get to learn more about the science of having a better life 🙂

Great right!

Now to your questions: “Should I stop all these activities?”

Like the millions and millions of other people studying the science of personal transformation the decision to continue to learn, or not is up to you. I hope the answers to your other question will help you to make a decision…

“Is this normal? Or have I put in movement some process?”

The exact specifics of your thoughts and memories are unique to you, obviously. Everyone that starts learning more about the subject of Personal Growth and Change is going to have some ‘shifts’ or ‘changes’.  If they aren’t getting results and benefits from studying personal transformation then they aren’t doing it right!

In short the answer is yes it is normal to experience change… “if you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always got.”

Re: Seeing strange and unpleasant thoughts in your mind while meditating.

Some movement or change is happening because memories are coming up… now you can chose to learn from those thoughts and gain insights into your life.

So as the thought comes up you can ask your deeper mind, your unconscious mind, to help you understand the positive change these memories are there to show you. And you can receive insights into how you are supposed to grow and/or you can chose how to change as you move forward in life.

And as you benefit from this learning the thoughts and memories will fade and stop coming. Then you get to chose how you are going to be in the future in similar situations (if they come up).

If you feel you have learnt from the memories and they still aren’t going away, it’s time to take control your thinking and ‘still your mind’ (after all this is one of the major reasons millions of people meditate to becoming the master of their own mind).

To take control of and Free Your Mind of memories that don’t go away or are upsetting you, you can use: The White Out Technique and the Quietening Your Internal Dialogue Technique from Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

Here is a short video I made of these techniques: (See Below)

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions 🙂
